Among the components of the S&P BSE Power index, Adani Green Energy Ltd (up 6.96%), Adani Power Ltd (up 5.85%),Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (up 4.91%),ABB India Ltd (up 3.05%),NTPC Ltd (up 2.56%), were the top gainers.
